A Florida State Security D License authorizes you to work as an unarmed security officer. The D License Course at VSS Security & Firearms Academy will give you the training and knowledge you need to succeed in the rapidly growing field of unarmed security.

D License Course specs
The Florida State Security D License Course through VSS provides you with all the training and knowledge you’ll need to work successfully as an unarmed security guard in the state of Florida.
Course length: 40 hours
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
What you get: All study materials approved by the State of Florida, application notarization, fingerprinting, certificate upon completion
Prerequisites: Must be at least 18 years old, have no criminal history that would disqualify you, and be legally able to work in the United States.
